Bay Mechanical & Electrical’s longstanding working relationship with the Ohio Veterans Home (OVH) has granted us many opportunities for Sandusky, Ohio construction projects. The OVH facility employs a dedicated staff to offer exceptional long-term, around the clock medical and nursing care to qualified veterans. The home also provides domiciliary care for those who are able to function in an independent living situation and those who need supervised care but do not require the level of care provided to nursing home residents. Regardless of the level of care provided, the staff at OVH provides an excellent quality of life to our veterans.
To ensure that the residents at OVH receive the best care possible, the home contacted us to work on their heating and cooling systems in various buildings. Most recently, we were granted a contract to upgrade the cooling system for the Veterans Hall building. This project included new piping, equipment and control upgrades for the cooling system in the building.
Prior to beginning this project, we installed new steam and condensate distribution piping and HVAC equipment and controls for their heating systems. Multiple buildings throughout the facility received upgraded heating systems as a part of this project.
