Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center

When The Ohio State University needed a mechanical and electrical contractor to help upgrade its chilled water plant systems, Bay Mechanical and Electrical was a clear choice. With over 60 years of experience, we could ensure the finest quality work on this project. In addition, our experience and reputation for keeping our projects on schedule helped us win this contract.

This mechanical and electrical project at the Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center involves a major upgrade to its chilled water plant systems. This project consists of installing two 1,000-ton chillers and a new 1,000-ton cooling tower. In addition, we are responsible for installing all associated piping, pumps, power, and control wiring. Our contract also includes the work necessary to convert the Food Animal Health Research Program (FAHRP) facility and the Research Services building from a DX refrigerant system to chilled water. This project is slated for completion in April 2011.
