As trusted WWTP contractors in Ohio, Bay Mechanical and Electrical has been contracted for work with Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) on multiple projects. NEORSD services thousands of residents and various businesses in Northeast Ohio, so maintaining distribution equipment is crucial. Bay Mechanical’s mechanical and electrical services are being put to use on three separate NEORSD projects.

  • ESR-1: The Easterly Substation Rehabilitation project includes removing and replacing two critical substations as well as replacing a number of existing feeder cables and distribution equipment. The new equipment provides reliability and real-time information as it relates to energy usage. In addition, the new equipment features remote operating panels which will enhance the safety of the switching operation for district employees.
  • IR-13B: When NEORSD needed a mechanical and electrical contractor for their incinerator rehabilitation project, Bay Mechanical was the obvious choice. This project consists of the rehabilitation of the district’s incinerator systems at the Westerly, Easterly and Southerly plants. The project involves the cleaning and refurbishing of eight incinerators, electrical upgrades to all three plants, a remodel of the Westerly control room building, and the installation of multiple new rooftop units and exhaust fans.
  • SSR-1: With this project, our mechanical and electrical contractors were tapped to replace the unit substations at the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant. This project includes replacing existing electrical substations and constructing new buildings to house new and existing substations.
